Weight training, or “resistance” training strengthens your ligaments, tendons, muscles and bones, and is essential for maintaining overall fitness, increasing your muscle tone and decreasing body fat with cardiovascular training. Weight training helps to prevent injuries and involves muscle conditioning, starting with the largest muscle groups: chest, back, trapezius/shoulders, quads and hamstrings and later working the smaller muscle groups: biceps, triceps, forearms, abdominals and calves.
Alvaro can advise you what exercises to do, in accordance with your fitness goals and as part of your personal programme, but more importantly how to do them correctly for maximum benefits. He will teach you correct form and technique to ensure that you achieve your best goals quickly and safely.
